This powder horn measures about 4 1/2" in length. It has the spout on the end, and the horn is in very nice shape with no chips or worm holes. This smaller powder horn was likely used for a black powder pistol. This probably predates the Civil War, likely around 1840-1850. The horn has very attractive aged patina.
